Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 23 September 2026. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Project Saathi Android app ("Project Saathi", "the app"), published by Graphical Art Studio ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using Project Saathi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Project Saathi on Android devices you own or control, for your personal or business document needs, in accordance with these Terms and the Google Play terms of service.
What the app is
Project Saathi is an on-device toolkit for scanning documents, creating passport & ID photos, adding signatures, redacting information and building or protecting PDFs. It runs 100% offline and stores your work only on your device. We operate no server that holds your files.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the documents, photos and data you create, import, edit or share using the app, and for using the app lawfully. You must have the right to use and process any document or image you handle with Project Saathi. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of files you create — because we store nothing for you, we cannot recover data that is lost, deleted or removed when the app is uninstalled.
Free features and Project Saathi Pro
Project Saathi is free to download and use. Certain premium features are unlocked by a single optional one-time in-app purchase ("Project Saathi Pro"). The purchase unlocks those features for the Google account used to buy it and can be restored on that account. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
Payments, billing and refunds
All purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by region and over time. Billing, taxes and refunds are handled by Google under the Google Play Terms of Service and Google's refund policies; please direct payment and refund requests to Google Play. We do not process card payments and do not store your payment details.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, including not attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, redistribute or tamper with the app or its licensing, and not using it to create or process material that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.
Intellectual property
Project Saathi, its name, logo, design and software are owned by Graphical Art Studio and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of the app to you. The documents and content you create with the app remain yours.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. While we work to make the app reliable, we do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that exported files will meet the specific requirements of any third party or authority. You are responsible for verifying that any document, photo size or PDF you produce meets the requirements it is intended for.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Graphical Art Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Because the app stores data only on your device, safeguarding and backing up that data is your responsibility.
Updates and availability
We may release updates that add, change or remove features, and we may discontinue the app or any feature at any time. Some updates may be required for continued use and are delivered through Google Play.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under applicable law.
