Privacy Policy
Effective date: 23 September 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how the Project Saathi Android app ("Project Saathi", "the app", "we", "us"), published by Graphical Art Studio, handles information. In short: Project Saathi works 100% offline. We do not collect, transmit or store any of your personal data or documents on any server.
The short version
Project Saathi is an on-device document toolkit — document scanning, passport & ID photos, signatures, redaction and PDF tools. Everything you do stays on your phone. There is no account to create, no login, and no cloud. We have no server that receives your files, and we cannot see, access or recover anything you create in the app.
Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information. Project Saathi has no user accounts and no analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or device identifiers, and we do not build any profile of you.
Your documents and photos
The documents you scan, the photos you capture or import, the signatures you draw, and the PDFs you create are processed entirely on your device and saved only in the app's local storage or wherever you choose to export them. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party. Because these files never leave your device, they are yours alone to keep, move or delete.
Camera permission
Project Saathi requests the Camera permission so you can scan documents and take photos inside the app. The camera is used only while you are actively capturing an image. Captured images are handled on-device and are never sent anywhere by the app. You can decline or revoke this permission in Android settings; the camera-based scanning features simply won't be available if you do.
Internet permission
Project Saathi requests the Internet permission for one purpose only: to process an optional in-app purchase ("Project Saathi Pro") through Google Play Billing. The app itself does not send your documents, photos or any personal data over the internet. If you never make a purchase, the app functions fully offline.
In-app purchases
Project Saathi offers a single optional one-time purchase that unlocks premium features. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play under Google's own terms and privacy policy — we never receive or store your payment card, billing address or Google account details. Device security features
Project Saathi can lock the app with a PIN or your device biometrics (fingerprint / face) for your own privacy. This is handled locally by your device's secure authentication; your PIN and biometric data stay on the device and are never transmitted to us.
Data sharing
Because we do not collect your data, we have nothing to sell or share. When you deliberately share or export a document from within the app (for example via Android's share sheet, or by saving a file), it goes only to the destination you choose. We are not involved in that transfer.
Children's privacy
Project Saathi is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. As the app collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children.
Data retention and deletion
We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete on a server. The documents and settings stored on your device remain until you delete them or uninstall the app. Uninstalling Project Saathi removes its locally stored data from your device.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
