LaterBox Privacy Policy

Save & Remember — your private, offline inbox

Last updated: 27 September 2026

Overview

LaterBox ("the app", "we", "us") is built to be private by design. The app helps you capture notes, links, ideas and tasks to get back to later. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. In short: your content stays on your device.

Data we collect

We do not collect any personal data. LaterBox does not require an account, sign-up, email address or login. Everything you capture — text, notes, links, tags, categories, reminders and their timestamps — is stored locally on your device only, in the app's private storage.

Data we send to servers

None. The app works fully offline. It does not transmit your captured content to us or to any third party. There is no cloud sync, no remote backup and no remote processing in this version of the app.

Analytics and tracking

LaterBox contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs and no tracking. We do not profile you, and we do not build any advertising identifier or behavioural profile.

Permissions

The app follows a least-privilege approach and only requests a permission at the moment a feature needs it:

The app never continuously monitors your clipboard. Any clipboard import is explicit and triggered by you.

Your data, your control

You are always in control of your content. Within the app you can:

Children's privacy

LaterBox is a general-purpose productivity app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If future versions of LaterBox add optional features such as cloud sync or AI assistance, this policy will be updated to accurately describe what data is processed, why, by which provider, and the controls available to you. Any such feature will be opt-in.
